Sorry this is late, I had to go buy a new card reader because mine gave up the ghost.

 Fast Shutter Speed

 

I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the motion. These both required a great deal of light.

Slow Shutter Speed

 The fact that both these images have to do with fire was coincidental.

What were you thinking, Canon? I'm not mad; I'm just disappointed.

 What did I learn? Well, I learned how awesome a tripod is and that Raw takes a lot of memory.. Oh, and make sure to clean a glass before you take a close up photo with a bright bake light in front of a black backdrop.
